UFC cuts Bantamweight Bantam, despite the annoying stellar record

Sometimes, just profit is not good enough.

UFC Bantamweight Taylor Lapilus revealed that on the difficult road when it was released in the middle of a massive cleansing of the promotion list Thursday, February 27, for the UFC list tracker.

UFC shared ways with nine fighters in numerous divisions.

Despite a general record 21-4 and a 6-2 mark on UFC-included a current win with two fighting-lapilus, 32, is no longer part of the promotion list.

Josh Evanoff of Bj Penn took on X to express his dissatisfaction with Lapilus’s release. “Taylor Lapilus is a terrible bad cut. Jesus. “

Some fans commented: “? Seed?”

Another said: “The winner of the record in both of his runs, let him go again. Strange. ”

Lapilus was one of several fighters issued as part of the list changes. Former Bantamweight Cody Stamann, along with Josh Culibao, Jonathan Pearce and Julio Arce, were also among those who released. The UFC did not make an official statement about the reasoning after these movements.

Lapilus returned to the UFC in 2023 after a seven -year absence, providing a win over Caolan Loughran in a home game at UFC Paris. The French crowd was firmly behind their son, but it was clearly not enough to keep it on the list.

Lapilus is only 32 years old, so his MMA career is far away and he looked strong during his last appearance. It will be interesting to see where he lands. Lapilus can be a great signature for Fighters Professional League.

The promotion generated a strong glance in France with Cedric Doumbe and Lapilus would be a great addition to the other card in Paris.
